Problem: Bulk products are often very abrasive, which causes the liner to wear abnormally. When full tightness is crucial, the liner often needs regular replacement.
Delicate products in the food industry — for example coated granulates — must not be crushed or damaged when the valve closes.
Solution: The INFLAS closes the disc without pressing its contour into the liner. That way, sharp particles cannot cut into the liner, and delicate particles are not crushed.
Because of this, the lifetime of the liner improves significantly, so maintenance can be reduced.
By pneumatically pressing the liner against the disc, any small grooves get compressed — this ensures full tightness for a longer period.
Also: the break-away and closing torque (force) drop significantly and large diameters can be operated with a smaller actuator.
