Problem: Traditionally, butterfly-valves are often used for rough or fine dosing in processes. To limit the flow, the valve disc is placed in a middle position — but then “bridging” occurs and the product flow stops.
Solution: The EBRO ViDos was developed from the well-proven Z 600 series. On the lower shaft there is a vibrator. When the valve is in the fine-flow middle position, this vibrator is switched on, causing linear vibrations of the valve disc.
The vibrations are pneumatically controlled, keep the material moving, and reduce compression.
If equipped with a positioner, different positions for coarse and fine dosing are possible — so media can flow freely even with small opening angles.
