The leak-free quick-couplings with bayonet closure of the CN type from Walther-Präzision are mainly used in the chemical industry for loading and transporting liquids at high flow — for example at loading stations for rail cars or for road tanker transport.
Because of the special design principle, the coupling and uncoupling can be leak-free — even with long, filled hoses under pressures up to 8 bar. In tight spaces, thanks to the low operating force of the CN-025 variant, even the ring handle can be omitted.
